The brief

Kendall Law is a Los Angeles civil litigation firm founded by Eileen M. Kendall, working in real estate, landlord-tenant matters, evictions, ADA defense, and civil litigation. The firm wanted more than a marketing site. It wanted a web presence that keeps up with an active practice and a secure place to give clients real tools and resources, not just a contact form. That meant reliable ongoing management plus something most law firm sites never attempt: a genuine, custom client portal.

What we built

We provide ongoing managed website services and built the firm a custom premium client portal. The managed work keeps the public site current, and the portal extends what the site does for the firm's clients. The work has included:

Kendall Law is a Los Angeles-based civil litigation firm specializing in real estate law, landlord-tenant matters, evictions, ADA defense, and civil litigation. Founded by Eileen M. Kendall and operating out of Crenshaw Boulevard, the firm serves property owners, landlords, property managers, and real estate professionals throughout California.

Managed Website Services

Ongoing managed services for Kendall Law have covered a continuous range of content, media, and technical updates across the website.

Key updates included:

Coordinating and uploading new firm photos for Ashley Ovalle, Kiley Atwood, and Maria Rivas after a firm media day.
Confirming final photo selections with the client before publishing.
Uploading and embedding five podcast clip videos from Eileen Kendall’s interview appearance.
Organizing podcast content within the site’s existing podcast and news structure.
Performing a site-wide title replacement across team profiles, bios, directories, footer components, metadata, schema fields, CMS-driven content, and hardcoded content.
Completing a final global sweep to confirm consistency across the site.
Verifying that no layout, styling, or structured data was affected during the updates.

These updates helped keep the website accurate, professionally maintained, and aligned with the firm’s latest content and brand presentation.

Custom Client Portal

Inovista designed and built Kendall Law’s premium client portal from the ground up at portal.kendalllaw.com. The portal was created as a centralized digital workspace that gives clients secure, role-based access to compliance materials, legal tools, educational resources, and firm documents.

The portal was delivered in two structured phases.

Phase 1: Core Client Hub

The first phase established the foundation of the platform, including:

A secure client dashboard.
A Compliance Library covering AB 1482, local ordinances, and relocation charts.
A Document Center for secure file access and downloads.
Role-based access control for client and admin permissions.

This gave Kendall Law a secure and organized platform for delivering important legal resources to clients.

Phase 2: Interactive Legal Tools

The second phase added interactive tools and a dynamic admin dashboard, allowing the firm to manage client-facing resources without developer involvement.

Features included:

Custom rent cap calculator.
Pro-rata rent calculator.
Late fee calculator.
Relocation cost calculator.
Eviction Roadmap Tracker with admin-side update controls.
Notice Compliance Q&A tool with logic-based interactivity.
Property Manager Toolkit consolidating the firm’s key compliance references.
Admin controls for formula values, client notices, compliance data, and user access.
Responsive WordPress Portal System

The portal was built on WordPress, fully responsive across devices, and visually aligned with Kendall Law’s branding. It was also structured around a series-based content model, with Eviction Essentials serving as the flagship series.

This content model bundled videos, forms, and supporting documents into a single access tier while remaining flexible enough to support additional educational series as the firm’s offerings continue to expand.
