OUR WORK
Law firm websites we are proud to put our name on
Design, development, rebuilds, and the SEO that keeps them ranking. Every project below was built for a real firm with real cases to win. Explore how we approach the work, then see the results the firm and its market decide.
Independent freelance portfolio by Ajwa Malik. The projects, case studies and client testimonials shown here are from freelance engagements delivered personally.
We are a focused studio, not a volume agency, so our portfolio is deliberately small and deliberately honest. Each of the firms below trusted us with something specific: a ground-up website, a full rebrand, a rescue of a slow or aging site, or an ongoing SEO program that has to compete in some of the most contested search markets there are. Several of these are personal injury firms, which is the vertical we know best. Some came to us for a single build. Others we still work with every month. Where we currently run search for a firm on a retainer, we say so on that firm's page rather than implying more than is true.
The projects

Mirador Law
A women-led personal injury and civil rights firm with three Bay Area locations. We handled a compassionate brand and website redesign and still manage the site, from Clio-connected intake forms to brand color systems and homepage media. Personal injury is the through-line here, and so is careful, ongoing care of a site that has to convert.

Bringardner Injury Law Firm
A Charleston personal injury and wrongful death practice that needed a fast site and local search that owns the map pack. We rebuilt how case results present, restructured the practice-area architecture, and run the local SEO program. This is one of the firms we support on an ongoing monthly basis.

Varner Injury Advocates
A personal injury firm that came to us mid-transition from a former identity. We delivered a full digital rebrand, a redesigned site, a hosting migration, and the ongoing management to keep a new brand consistent everywhere it appears.

Lagasse Branch Bell + Kinkead
A San Diego litigation firm handling complex tort, professional liability, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death matters. We built a high-converting litigation website and provide the ongoing managed services that keep a demanding site accurate and current.

Kendall Law
A Los Angeles civil litigation firm working in real estate, landlord-tenant, evictions, and ADA defense. Alongside managed website services, we built a custom premium client portal with a secure dashboard, a compliance library, and interactive legal tools. Proof that a law firm site can do more than market.

How we work
We start with what the firm actually needs to win, not a template. For some firms that is a new website that finally reflects the quality of the practice. For others it is search visibility in a market crowded with national brands and lead sellers. For most it is both, sequenced sensibly so the site is built to rank before we ask it to. We keep the engagement small enough that the person doing the work is the person you talk to, and we stay honest about what a given market will take.
What we measure
We report on the signals that predict results before the headline number arrives: rising impressions, keywords entering the top positions, map pack movement, and the intake calls that actually reach the firm. Where a build's job is conversion, we wire it so the numbers are measured, not guessed. We do not publish inflated client counts or invented percentages. When we show a result, it will be a real, attributed, dated number from a real engagement, and until each one is verified to that standard we leave it as a placeholder rather than fill it with something convenient.
What it costs
We publish our packages openly instead of hiding them behind a sales call, and a single build is priced differently from an ongoing SEO program. The honest variable is the market: search in a top-ten metro is a heavier program than the same work in a smaller one, because the competition you are ranking against is heavier, and we scope to that rather than quote a number that cannot deliver. You can see the full breakdown on our pricing page.
Note on the retainer relationships: Inovista currently runs SEO for roughly four of the firms shown here on a monthly retainer, and on those engagements we operate as the search partner behind the scenes. Specific scope and duration are noted per firm as placeholders until confirmed for publication.
